That is a great combo- the jute makes the chenille strong and durable, and the chenille makes the jute not scratchy. I get asked if his jute chevron rug is scratchy – it is awesome and actually soft! We liked it so much I bought a second one for our playroom. After our dog threw up on it last year, I washed the cover and it came out perfectly – so I can attest to its’ longevity now too.
